Last Saturday, Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese was pelted with bottles at Shatta Wale’s Reign Concert ‘Wonder Boy’ album launch.
Despite being the surprise act and hostile reception, he went ahead to put up a fine performance.
After the team of the reggae/dancehall musician’s failure to reach out to him to iron out the unfortunate incident, he has hit out at them.
According to the ‘Dondo’ hitmaker, he is disappointed in the management team for their failure to do the needful.
He made this known in an interview with Mamavi on Accra-based Joy 99.7 FM‘s Cosmopolitan Show.
“I am not disappointed in the fans, I am disappointed in the management for not reaching to me after the incident. Maybe, to them what happened was good and that’s why they have not come out to say anything,” he said.
Asked whether he was officially invited to the show, he mentioned that his management was contacted by Shatta Wale‘s team to join the album launch as the surprise act.
“His management got in touch with my management and asked me to perform. I was to be the surprise artiste and being the professional that I am, I accepted to perform,” he reiterated.
Shatta Wale and his management are yet to address this issue.
In October 2018, both Kwaw Kese and Shatta Wale got involved in social media squabble; which eventually resulted in the diss song for Shatta Wale titled ‘Porkum’.
The ‘Wonder Boy’ album launch was held at the Fantasy Dome inside the Trade Fair Centre, La-Accra.
