Nigerian musician Teni was one of the top performers during the just-ended Ghana Meets Naija 2019 event.

The singer who performed among others, her hit song ‘Case‘ brought the party to the people, as expected.

She was showered with money, twice, during her awe-inspiring performance.

The musician who stated that she loves Ghana so much, paused during her performance and asked that a Ghanaian name be given to her since she is in the country.

After a brief with actress Lydia Forson, and others who were seated at the VIP session, the name ‘Serwaa Akoto’ was given to her.

Serwaa is a female name of Ghanaian origin which means ‘noble or honourable’ whereas Akoto means ‘powerful and complete’.

Teni then announced the name and she followed it up with a freestyle which sent the already-charged audience even yearn for more.
