It’s rare for Ghanaian moviemakers to announce the cash they pumped into their projects but Tracey Boakye doesn’t mind letting the world know the amount her yet-to-be premiered movie, Baby Mama cost her.
The actress, Producer and Entrepreneur Tracey Boakye in a chat with zionfelix.net has revealed that she spent a whooping $40,000 on her upcoming movie, ‘Baby Mama’.
Giving a breakdown of the amount, the Shakira Movie Production boss explained that she spent a lot on the A-list actors she cast, used modern production materials for shoot, provided good welfare for the cast and crew among many other factors which will make the public enjoy the new film.
The combination of great talents like Kalybos, Lilwin, Vivian Jill, Moesha Bouduong , Bill Asamoah, Yaa Jackson, Rosemond Brown, Bill Asamoah, Kwaku Manu, Louisa Adinkra, Kofi Adjorlolo and many others in one movie makes it a must watch.
Baby Mama premieres on Saturday, the 20th of July, 2019 at the Watch and dine cinema in Kumasi. This will be proceeded by another premiere at the National theatre, Accra on the 25th of July, 2019.
The train stops by at the Eusbett hotel in Sunyani on the 3rd of August, 2019. The high budget “Baby Mama” movie is Tracey’s 14th self-produced movie under her production house, Shakira Movie Production and all stops are being pulled to ensure it records massive success.
The movie which stars almost all the big names in the industry we gather promises to live up to give movie enthusiasts great satisfaction.
