Ghanaian reggae/dancehall acts Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are set to put the pat behind and uphold unity.
This will be marked with an explosive unity concert as part of their promise.
The two made this known during a press conference held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the Marriott Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
They revealed that the name of the unity concert will be ‘Ghana First’ although the date and venue was not made known.
In a related development, Abeiku Santana told Halifax Ansah Addo, host of Okay 101.7 FM‘s ‘Best Entertainment’ show on Monday, June 3, 2019 that “I promise you that Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale will hold a unity concert on July 20, I can confidently tell you that the unity concert will hold and it will be the biggest concert in Ghana.”
While encouraging fans in their camps to stop the usual squabble, Stonebwoy noted that “we are together for peace, we want to control our fans not our controlling us.”
The unity and presser was brought to light by the Kofi Abban Foundation, founded by CEO of RigWorld, Dr Kofi Abban.
It was moderated by Nana Aba Anamoah with support from Wendy Shay, Bullet and the team at RuffTown Records.
