The much-publicised concert Tomorrow’s Leaders Festival which had Morgan Heritage as the headline and Stonebwoy as one of the supporting acts was greeted with huge knock-backs.

eFocusLive.com gathers weather was not favourable when the event was held over the weekend.

Another major setback is Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, and Nigeria’s Yemi Alade‘s refusal to mount stage for non-payment.

The known host for the event Koinange Jeff also pulled out of the show at the eleventh hour.

Information received by this news source also adds that Kenyan acts who were on the bill were not paid. However, they were given ‘fake’ cheque by the organisers to entice them to perform. An e-mail was sent to the artiste after the show that they should not cash out the cheque because of insufficient funds.

Yemi Alade has also reacted to this brouhaha stating that it is her worst trip to Nairobi.

The Tomorrow’s Leaders Festival was held at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
