The CEO of Charterhouse. Mrs Theresa Ayoade has revealed that Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale will be punished for the VGMA 2019 gun pulling brouhaha.
While apologizing for the unfortunate incident, Mrs Ayoade noted that there were body scanners to check unwanted items.
“What happened at the last VGMA was rather unfortunate. We unreservedly apologize for that. We had body scanners on the premises to check for weapons and other unwanted items,” she was speaking on the AM Show on Joy News.
“Nonetheless, we may not have been able to scan every single person that came through the gates,” the events executive added.
She also stated that the Ghana music industry existed long before them so the two can’t ruin it.
“Our music industry is too big and two personalities cannot be the downfall of our industry. The industry existed way before they joined it and will continue to exist. The industry will continue to thrive, VGMA will move to a higher level and I believe these two ( Shattawale & Stonebwoy ) artistes will find a way to make peace. We will do our best to facilitate the process.”
Reacting to the next action the event powerhouse will take, she revealed that the award scheme has rules and regulations and it will be implemented accordingly.
“We have our own rules and regulations pertaining to the VGMAS, and we will announce whatever sanction they have for both Shatta wale and Stonebwoy soon,” she said.
Both Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are assisting the CID in investigation into this saga.
