Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been banned indefinitely from the annual Ghana Music Awards.
This include the nominations, selections, and performances at the scheme.
This was made known by the VGMA Board at a presser held on Thursday by the organisers at the Alisa Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
The Board however noted that as at now, there are no further charges for the musicians in question.
As part of the sanctions the two (2) are supposed to return all awards won during the VGMA 2019 event.
Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were involved in a live stage brawl last Saturday during the event.
In a related development, the two have been given a GHc50k bail with one surety.
“Furthermore, the two remaining awards unannounced on the night, i.e. Most Popular the Year and Artiste of the Year, for the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards been nullified, the VGMA 2019 Board said.
