Croatia knocked off England to book a place in the grand finale of the FIFA World Cup 2018 tournament following a fiery game on Tuesday, July 11.
The Croats overturned The Three Lions‘ 1 goal lead to emerge victors by scoring 2 goals, courtesy Ivan Perisic and Mario Mandzukic.
Kieran Trippier gave England the lead just 5 minutes into the game, following a sublime free-kick.
It was a frenzy mood at the Luzhniki Stadium when Perisic netted the equalizer before Mandzukic added the second just four (4) minutes into the second half of the extra time.
Croatia will face France, who also won in their semi-final match against France yesterday. The match will be held at the Moscow Stadium on Sunday, July 14, 15.00 GMT.
