MUSIGA Expresses Grief over Tamale Accident

The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has reacted to the gory accident that happened in Tamale last Friday. The accident claimed the lives of two (2) Zylofon Media staff as well as six (6) fans of musician Fancy Gadam.

In a statement copied to eFocusLive.com, MUSIGA through its president Bice Osei Kuffour popularly known as Obour has “described the accident as an unfortunate one” while calling on “all road users to be careful and considerate to other road users.”

The President and executives of the Musicians Union of Ghana have expressed their deepest grief over the accident involving fans of music star Fancy Gadam and staff of Zylofon Media which resulted in a number of casualties.

The President of the Union, Bice Osei Kuffour described the accident as an unfortunate one and called on all road users to be careful and considerate of other road users.

The Union also expressed its condolences to the families of the accident victims.

The MUSIGA President is also calling on the Tamale Mayor, Musah Superior to exercise restraint in handling the issue since his blanket ban on musical performances at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium may not be the panacea to the issues he has identified.

The Union is also calling on the Mayor to avoid making unfounded allegations.
