eFocusLive.com sources reveal the deceased were the driver of the company and a female sales agent.
The company describes as “shock” the unfortunate incident, while expressing condolence to the bereaved families of the persons involved.
A message shared on Zylofon Cash Facebook page reads:
“We are in deep pain and shock as we express our condolence to the families of all persons who lost their lives during the accident that occurred in Tamale yesterday evening.
A cargo truck veered off its lane and drove straight into our convoy. It crashed into one of our vehicles and several motor bikes in the process.
Doctors from the Tamale Teaching Hospital have confirmed that two of our staff members were unable to survive.
May their souls rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
The Zylofon Cash team were in Tamale for the Fancy Gadam musical concert with Patoranking, which was scheduled to take place at the Aliu Mahama Stadium later today.
The musician has since cancelled the show to mourn with the bereaved families.
