Ghanaian singer eShun has stated that the current trend of songs in the music industry is crushing the talent of people in the art.

According to the ‘Someone Loves Me’ crooner, Ghanaians are pre-owned to the same style of music.

The Quophimens Musiq act made this revelation in an exclusive interview with Sammy Flex on the Showbiz Agenda show on Zylofon 102.1 FM.

“Ghanaians are used to one style of music, the Patapaa and kind of songs are what is in vogue. This kills talents of musicians who want to try new styles,” she said.

The breast cancer campaigner noted that musicians are therefore compelled to follow in the same line.

Notwithstanding this, she added that musicians can switch back to their main style.

“I believe if one follows the trend for a while to make their name, they can chip in their main style. Efya did it and it worked out for her”, the songwriter said.

eShun recently released a single she titles ‘I Want’ and it was produced by Moniebeatz.
