Ghanaian rapper Yaa Pono has reacted to the rumor making rounds that his ‘Obia Wone Master’ song which features Stonebwoy was a piece directed at an artiste in the music industry.

Since the song was released by the Uptown Energy Records rapper, barely two (2) months ago, many music fanatics have perceived it to be a piece targeted at Zylofon Music act Shatta Wale.

However, Yaa Pono has debunked this rumor, stating that it is not a diss song to any musician while adding that it was written long ago.

“I wrote it [the song] way back; it’s not a diss song to anyone,” he told Ohemaa Woyeje on the Work And Happiness show on Adom 106.3 FM.

In January 2017, the lyrical war between Yaa Pono and Shatta Wale came to light after the former was denied an opportunity to perform at a concert headlined by the latter in Cape Coast.

This revelation however, brings to an end weeks of arguments over whether the song was targeted at any musician in particular.
