Coach Kwesi Appiah has announced his 21-man squad for Black Stars of Ghana’s upcoming international friendly games against Japan and Iceland in May and June respectively.
While Black Stars use the game as part of the preparations ahead of the 2019 AFCON qualifying matches, the two opponent will do so ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia next month.
The match against Japan will be hosted at the Yokohama Stadium on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 while that against Iceland will take place on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Laugardalsvöllur in Reykjavík, Iceland.
The likes of Asamoah Gyan, Jordan Ayew, and Dede Ayew were dropped from this squad.
