Yesterday, broke the news that H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on the CID of the Ghana Police Service for the arrest of GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi for defrauding under false pretense and influence peddling.

This was greeted, generally with jollity among many football lovers, and most especially people who have followed the activities of Ghana’s football governing body for some time now.

Among these people were former UK High Commissioner to Ghana Jon Benjamin, who reacted to story in a very sarcastic manner.

In a related development, the Kwesi Nyantakyi is expected to fly back to Ghana today, following the call for his arrest.
