Fast-rising Ghanaian DJing prodigy DJ Switch, real name Erica Tandoh has mentioned that she aspires to be a gynecologist when she grows.
The Talented Kids Season 8 and Ghana DJ Awards 2018 ‘Discovery of the Year’ winner made this known in an exclusive interview on Showbiz Agenda, hosted by Sammy Flex on Zylofon 102.1 FM.
Citing her reason for pursuing a career in the branch of physiology and medicine which deals with the functions and diseases specific to women and girls, she noted that women suffer many infections, while adding her desire to help women during childbirth.
“Women, in general, suffer many infections with their genitals. Also, I want to help our mothers, especially during childbirth, hence my career choice”, she told Sammy Flex.
However, she added that she will continue to embark on her disc jockeying journey because its her talent.
“This is my God-given talent and it is passion driven. Though I want to be a gynecologist, I have no intention of quitting disc jockeying. Gynecology is a career and disc jockeying is a talent”, she added.
She also made a shocking revelation that she learnt DJing just five (5) days before auditioning for the TV3‘s Talented Kids show
DJ Switch is currently a pupil of Talented Royals International School in Weija, a suburb of Accra.
